YMC are still actively discussing Wanna One's debut plan. They stated, "We are carefully and detailedly discussing and discussing what the debut song should be." According to YMC, the members and company will choose good songs as nominees, and plan to have nation's producers choose what the final debut song should be. But nothing is confirmed as of right now.
YMC are also supporting Wanna One to actively be on variety shows. KBS 2TV open their doors to I.O.I and now Wanna One, but MBC and SBS' broadcast appearance approval is still unknown. YMC wants to support the members so they are trying their best to do everything they can't. Wanna One are a project group that debuted through MNET 'Produce 101 Season 2', and they are the proof of another broadcast channel's success, so they aren't that welcomed. It was hard for I.O.I to be seen on public broadcast aside from KBS, but YMC are still trying their best.
A YMC representative said, "The members' variety show appearances aren't confirmed yet besides KBS Happy Together 3. We are trying our best to show a variety of members on a variety of shows, but none of the broadcast appearances are confirmed. Even music show appearances (Music Core/Inkigayo) are uncomfirmed as well. We have not been able to discuss with music show broadcast teams.
