[INTERVIEW] Wanna One for 1stlook Magazine - Hwang Minhyun

Congratulations on the birth of Wanna One. Please give a speech to <1st look> readers
Minhyun: I want to thank all the nation's producers and staff who believed and watched over me until the end through this interview. It wasn't easy for me to come on Produce 101 Season2, but I was that desperate, and worked that hard because I was desperate. If we received that love, it's time to repay that love.

This is your first photoshoot, and you are already the cover models. Cover models are trendiest models at the moment. Do you feel your popularity?
Minhyun: People said it wouldn't feel much different for me because I have experience promoting, but I'm a very anxious person so I'm worried that I might look a bit stiff. But I think it's a different kind of fun than broadcasts. It's more important because it's the first photoshoot with Wanna One members. It's cool seeing us all in one frame, I'm anticipating.

Watching today's photoshoot, I noticed that everybody takes care of each other and monitors each other's photoshoot. I think teamwork is really important because everybody is from different companies.
Minhyun: Wanna One has a different starting point. Other idol groups come out finalized, but we are still lacking a lot before debut, and we are not polished yet but everything has been revealed. Nation's producers watched us grow and picked us from their taste, our personality, etc. so I think our teamwork is stronger than most.
